Teachers
Natasha is Russian and has been dancing since age seven. In 2001, she discovered swing dancing & just loved it. She joined countless swing dancing workshops, soon became one of the best Russian dancers & teachers. Olivier is French & his big passion for Swing started in 2001. He started competing and soon he was placed in the first eight in the French Boogie Woogie ranking list. Since 2003 their blend of two cultures has been creating an original style of dancing & a very personal style of teaching in particularly all kinds of swing dancing: Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Balboa & West Coast Swing. Natasha fills the most complicated step with grace. Olivier is one of the best leaders in the world & bewitches each lady with his French charm & sprit. They are permanent students in all styles of dancing, constantly improving their skills & their ways of teaching.
Masha Krohina and Alexey Gudovich are one of the best balboa couples in Russia. They have repeatedly been finalists and winners of Russian and international competitions and are recognized for their noticeable elegant style of dancing. Winners of the annual prize "Glass Zebra-2010" in the "Balboa-couple of the year" category (based on the contest results of the past year). Acting Champions of Russia. Have been teaching regular classes in Moscow since March 2007, while constantly conducting workshops in St-Petersburg and (starting from this year) teaching at swing dance camps in Moscow, Kiev, St-Petersburg, Zürich.
Classes
The main focus of the workshop will be Bal-swing in general and musicality, technique and slow-downs/tempo shifts in particular spiced with some cool moves! The schedule is TBA. There will be no classes with mixed levels and no more than 20 couples in each class, so register as fast as possible!
Levels
(A) Beginner-Intermediate
You know some of the basic Balboa moves and have probably either danced Balboa for several months or have other dance experience, e.g. Lindy Hop and have tried some Bal socially. You might lack the confidence to dance comfortably for a whole song - especially at higher tempos. You want both to improve your basic technique and increase your repertoire of moves.
(B) Intermediate-Advanced
You have danced Balboa for min. 6 months or longer and you probably have already attended international workshops. You can dance comfortably, also at higher tempos, and are eager to learn more and really improve your dancing and feel for the music.
(C) Advanced
You have already earlier been accepted to the highest level in other workshops and felt comfortable at that level. You know that less can be more and your focus is on the music, your partner and the art of each step. You value quality over quantity.
We’ll devide dancers accordingly to the answers you give during registration, so please fill them out carefully.

Accommodation
We will offer private accommodation on a first registered, first served basis. Otherwise there are many hostels and hotels in all price ranges in Copenhagen., e.g.: www.sleepinheaven.com (€19/night), www.danhostel.dk, www.cabinn.com, and up…
Transportation
At the moment is quite cheap to go to Copenhagen both by air and rail – especially if you book in advance, e.g . www.norwegian.com, www.transavia.com. Once in Copenhagen, it is recommended to buy a discount card (“klippekort”) which is valid for both buses, metro and the S-train system. There is metro (app. 15 minutes) going from the airport to downtown. There are public buses going within close proximity of all the venues. Registration
If you register no later than October 15th the price for the workshop is DKK 750 (app. €100). Later registrations will be DKK 900 (app. €120). The fee includes all parties, classes and free water and fruit during breaks. Dancers who have been put on a waiting list before Oct. 1st but accepted later will still only pay DKK 750. To make registration easier for us and ensure yourself a place early, please register with a partner if possible. Your partner should be accepted at the same level. Notice: max. 20 couples in each class and no classes with mixed levels.

After signing up, your will get a confirmation e-mail with the payment details. Your registration will not be final before we have received the payment. If we have not received the payment within 3 weeks, your registration will be cancelled. You can get a full refund before Oct. 1st. After Oct.1st, no refunds.
